Tara Schneider CFP®, CLU, RRC

Executive Financial Consultant
Strategic Wealth & Advisory

Tara Schneider is the lead advisor of T. Schneider & Associates, a strategic wealth advisory practice serving founders, business families, executives, and multi-generational families of significant wealth across Canada.

With more than 16 years of advisory experience, Tara has built her practice on the belief that wealth is never just about numbers — it is about people, legacy, and confident decision-making in the face of complexity. Her work centers on comprehensive wealth strategy, advanced estate and trust planning, tax-efficient structures, succession planning, and multi-generational coordination. She operates as the strategic quarterback for her clients, ensuring that accountants, legal counsel, and other professional advisors are aligned around a unified plan.

Tara holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), and Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC) designations and is currently pursuing both the Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) and Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA) designations. These advanced credentials reflect her commitment to deep expertise in trust law, estate structures, governance, and the unique relational dynamics that shape family enterprises.

Her technical rigor, paired with practical experience, allows her to simplify complex financial decisions for families navigating business growth, liquidity events, executive compensation structures, and generational wealth transfer.

Her practice is intentionally positioned as high-touch and relationship-driven. Tara is known for her ability to combine strategic clarity with calm leadership — creating an environment where clients can make significant decisions with confidence. She is particularly passionate about supporting women of wealth and influence and is the creator of the LeadHERship Lounge, a leadership and philanthropic event series designed to elevate female founders and professional leaders within the Alberta community.

Beyond her advisory practice, Tara is deeply committed to family and community. She and her husband Wayne are partners in their family agricultural enterprise, Great West Farms, and are raising their two children in a household grounded in work ethic, stewardship, and faith. Living and working within a multi-generational family business gives Tara a lived understanding of succession, governance, and legacy — insights that meaningfully inform the counsel she provides to her clients.

Tara’s mission is clear: to help families with complex lives build lasting wealth with intention, structure, and confidence.
